Choosing your ‘feel’
Determining what type of feel you want for your space, then choosing the colour palette can be overwhelming. The choices are so great, it is hard to make a decision.
You may already have purchased half a dozen paint test pots or wallpaper samples, and they are decorating your space and have been for some time, is this you? then you need help to nail down what you actually want.
Warm colours, cool colours, dark and moody or light and fresh, what shade? It’s a minefield and may become so overwhelming, you just do not decide. Let me help you make those decisions based on your chosen room layout, where your light comes from, whether we are working with your already installed furniture and how you want the space to feel. We will choose the colours and contrasting colours to clarify what you want. Your home should reflect your personality, this definitely needs to be considered in your choices, not just copying someone else, because you like it and it looks right in their space.
This is a two hour consultation. Some clients may need a little more time, which is charged as an additional cost per half hour.
After the palette consultation, you will have a decisive plan and can then start to make your dream come to fruition. It is great when you are happy with your choices and decision, you will feel a sense of achievement that, you have cemented your idea at last!
If you have other people in the house to consider the choices with, it is far better to show them what your ideas are, rather than just describing them. This can be achieved using a mood board that you can create yourself or, I can do for you. The charge for the mood board in addition, is not included in the colour consultation process.
